Odell Beckham Jr and the New York Giants have begun contract negotiations to keep the All-Pro Receiver in a Giants uniform for years to come. Beckham’s contract status has been in limbo for months now as both sides continued to be at odds over the Pro Bowler’s value.
ESPN’s Josina Anderson reported that the Giants initial offer was below the 3-year 48 million dollar deal that Kansas City signed Sammy Watkins for earlier in the year.

OBJ has often been one of the top receivers in the game, in the class of the likes of Antonio Brown of the Steelers and the Falcons Julio Jones. Jones signed a 5 yr(s) / $71,256,045 deal in 2015 and Brown signed a four-year extension worth $68 million in 2017.
The two sides will continue to work on a deal that will make Beckham the games highest paid receiver. In doing so, the Giants would lock a key piece to the offense, one that hopes to lead the team back into Super Bowl contention.
