With the 2018 NFL free agent period's biggest stars already signed with teams, an early look at the 2019 class provides us with some of the game’s best players.
Below we will take a look at 5 of the top players that may hit the market next year.

1. LeVeon Bell.
The Pittsburgh Steelers workhorse is currently in a contract standoff with management. He has yet to sign the 14.1 million dollar franchise tag for the upcoming season. He has until July 16th at 4pm EDT to come to terms on a new deal. Bell is the league’s most versatile back, but his heavy workload could deter teams from offering him the long-term contract he desires. If this year goes like last year, he will hit the free agent market next year.

2. David Johnson.
The Arizona Cardinals do it all back is in a similar position as Bell but does not have the workload and injury history Bell does. His market value could depend on what Bell signs for and when.

3. Odell Beckham Jr.
Even though he missed most of the season with an ankle injury, Odell will be highly sought after if he is a free agent in 2019. Highly regarded as one of the most dynamic receivers in the game, Beckham will have many suitors.

4. Jadeveon Clowney.
Clowney is an edge rusher disguised as an outside linebacker, and his position designation will lead to him being franchised in order to work out a contract.

5. Earl Thomas is one of the best safeties in the league and is set to become a free agent in 2019. Seattle will be hard pressed to let Thomas walk, but the Pro Bowl safety will be in high demand when he hits the market.
